17,1% decrease recorded in Armenia’s export volume in AprilMay 21, 2012 - 14:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s foreign trade turnover totaled $447.7 mln (AMD 175.4 bln.) in April 2012 decreasing by 0,2% compared to the same period in 2011, according to updated statistical data. Export amounted to $91.9 mln (AMD 36 bln.) in April 2012, decreasing by 43,4% on a monthly basis, while 5,4% growth was recorded in import bringing it to $355.8 bln.(AMD 139.4 bln.), the RA National Statistical Service reported. The negative balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to $872,4 mln (AMD 339,6 bln) in January-April 2012, as compared with the same period in 2011.
