Parliament ex-speaker says won’t reassume post, yet plans return to RA NA

PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) election headquarters, parliament ex-speaker Hovik Abrahamyan refused to confirm that he’ll reassume RA NA speaker’s post.

As Abrahamyan told journalists after RPA executive body sitting, he sees himself as a member of legislative authority, rather than executive.

He further gave positive assessment to the government of Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan.

However, he noted that following his return to the National Assembly, he’ll toughen the rules of journalists’ visit to the parliament, laxed by the current speaker.
