Expert says apricot harvest in Armenia same as last year

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the Agrarian-Peasant Union of Armenia forecasts apricot harvest in Armenia on last year’s level.

“According to our data, apricot harvest will make 25 and 10-12 thous. tons in Ararat and Armavir provinces respectively,” Hrachya Berberyan told a press conference.

He further voiced concerns over the apricot fungal disease to aggravate during the heavy rains.

The expert noted that he expects good crop capacity in case of proper cultivation.
