The third Summit of the Council of Europe (CE) member states will be held in May 2005. Today the CE Committee of Ministers made the decision on that. It should be noted that Armenia will participate in the forum for the first time. As Chairman of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, Norway's Minister for Foreign Affairs Jan Petersen noted at the sitting, "Europe is changing - and the Council of Europe will have to adapt to the new circumstances." In his words, the coming Summit should give guidance for the way ahead.
