Radiohead, Jack White set to cooperate?

Radiohead could be set to work with Jack White, the band’s frontman Thom Yorke hinted, according to The Guardian.

The band were headlining the Bonnaroo Music and Arts festival in Manchester, Tennessee, when Yorke teased fans with a special shout-out to the former White Stripe. As they plunged into the track Supercollider, Yorke said: "This song is for Jack White. We saw him yesterday. A big thank you to him, but we can't tell you why. You'll find out." Almost immediately, theories started to formulate. The Bonnaroo site is just over an hour away from White's Third Man Records HQ in Nashville.

While White has always been eager to collaborate on various projects, Radiohead have been more reluctant. Outside of the band, however, Yorke has worked with other artists; his Atoms for Peace project teamed him up with Mauro Refosco, Joey Waronker, Nigel Godrich and Flea.

Radiohead's headline performance featured more recent material, and saw them play in front of a spectacular array of flatscreen panels. The four-day Bonnaroo festival also saw performances from the Beach Boys, Phish, Skrillex and Fosteh.
