NATO concerned over Azeri attacks

PanARMENIAN.Net - NATO Secretary General's Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia commented on tensions at the contact line.

“We support the OSCE Minsk Group’s efforts in Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. NATO carefully follows current developments and is concerned over the deteriorating situation at the contact line between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces”, Azeri-Press Agency (APA) quoted James Appathurai as saying.

He said that NATO supported the peaceful solution of the problem: “We hope that the tension will be de-escalated”.
