President of the European Commission Romano Prodi will visit Armenia on a two-day official call September 18. As reported by the Armenian Foreign Ministry Press Service, within the framework of the visit meetings with RA President Robert Kocharian, National Assembly Speaker A. Baghdasarian, Prime Minister Andranik Margarian, Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanian are scheduled. In the course of the call to Yerevan the Eurocommission President will also visit the monument to the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Ottoman Turkey and will lay a wreath to the monument.
