DreamWorks Animation's "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" may have lost its U.S. box office crown to "Brave," but it still made $30.1 million overseas this weekend, more than any other film, TheWrap said.

The Paramount-distributed CGI movie played in 45 territories and has now taken in $208.4 million abroad, and has a worldwide gross of $365.9 million, according to estimates from box office tracker Rentrak.

It was a light weekend at the overseas box office, in part because distributors steered clear of rollouts in Europe, where many are focused on the soccer championships.

Universal's "Snow White and the Huntsman" brought in $22.6 million from 61 territories, upping its overall foreign gross to $160.4 million and its worldwide total to $297.4 million.

Disney's Pixar hit "Brave" made $13.5 million from 11 territories.

Fox's "Prometheus" made $12.7 million from 62 overseas markets, upping its foreign gross to $152.9 million and its worldwide total to $261.4 million.

"Men in Black 3" took in $10.5 million from 76 foreign markets for Sony. That ups its overseas gross to $414 million and the worldwide to $577.3 million.

The studio's Adam Sandler film "That's My boy" opened in eight markets and made just under a million dollars, upping its worldwide gross to $30.9 million in two weeks.

Fox's "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Slayer" rolled out in 18 territories and took in $8.1 million. Warner Bros. "Dark Shadows" managed $6.9 million from 57 foreign markets, upping its international total to $143 million and is worldwide to $218.4 million.

The studio's "Rock of Ages" brought in $2.9 million from 25 overseas territories, upping is foreign total to $8.6 million.
