ARMENTEL TO RETAIN MONOPOLY FOR ANOTHER 10 DAYS
The projects of resolutions "On changes and additions to the license and monopoly rights of the telecommunication operator Armentel" as well as "On providing authorities for signing agreement on truce" were discussed during the special sitting of the Armenian government yesterday. As government's press secretary Mary Harutyunian told journalists, the members of the cabinet will have one more week to familiarize in detail with the results of negotiations between Armenian Minister of Justice David Harutyunian and Armentel Company and also to express opinion on the issue. At the same time taking into account the fact that the government's decree on introducing some changes in the Armentel license had to come into power on October 28, the sitting participants agreed on prolonging the terms of inserting the alterations for more 10 days. To note it's already the third time, the government has decided to postpone the date of the changes to come into effect.
