Microsoft rolls out Xbox 360 cross-game program Avatar FamestarJuly 21, 2012 - 16:22 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Microsoft has announced Avatar Famestar, a new cross-game program for Xbox 360, Digital Spy said. Avatar Famestar will offer users weekly and daily challenges to compete in multiple Xbox Live Arcade games. Successfully completing challenges will increase a user's Avatar fame, which will earn users exclusive Avatar items and clothing as rewards. The first game to feature Avatar Famestar support will be the Summer of Arcade title Wreckateer, which is scheduled to release next week. Future Xbox Live Arcade titles are set to incorporate the new feature, including Avatar Motocross Madness, Fire Pro Wrestling and Homerun Stars. It is also planned to have Avatar Famestar retroactively added to past titles, such as Full House Poker and A World of Keflings. It is unknown whether Avatar Famestar will feature its own set of achievements for completing challenges.
