Peter Jackson unveils new “The Hobbit” video blog (video) July 24, 2012 - 16:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Peter Jackson has unveiled the eighth video blog from the production of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Digital Spy said. The 14-minute video offers fans a chance to see what footage was recently shown at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego. The Hobbit panel saw Jackson introduce its stars Martin Freeman, Sir Ian McKellen, Richard Armitage, Andy Serkis and Elijah Wood among others. The blog also includes behind-the-scenes material from the last days of principal photography, including a tour of many sets from the movie and the camaraderie between the cast and crew. Martin Freeman, Lee Pace, Sylvester McCoy and Barry Humphries are among the actors who are interviewed in the blog. Orlando Bloom also makes an appearance as he films a fight sequence with a green screen. Jackson states in the blog that the next video diary will cover the post-production of the film. The director recently revealed that he would like to make a third Hobbit film after There And Back Again is released in 2013.
