Ex-FM Oskanian files appeal against decision on Civilitas FoundationJuly 30, 2012 - 19:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Former Foreign Minister of Armenia Vartan Oskanian has filed an appeal against July 23 decision by Yerevan Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative Court of General Jurisdiction. Earlier, the Court refused to satisfy Mr. Oskanian’s appeal demanding the decision on criminal charges against Civilitas Foundation be disaffirmed. “According to the Court of Appeal, Vartan Oskanian’s rights have not been violated. This is an unfounded judgment. Moreover, the court didn’t respond to our arguments,” Oskanian’s lawyer Tigran Atanesyan said. Civilitas Foundation director Salpi Ghazarian, in turn, filed a note to Armenia's State Revenue Committee head Gagik Khachatryan, trying to clarify the reasons behind suspension of inspections of the foundation-committee relations.
