Expert: Tsarukyan more likely to win presidential race than ex-leader Kocharian

PanARMENIAN.Net - Prosperous Armenia leader Gagik Tsarukyan will have more chances for victory at the upcoming presidential race than the ex-president Robert Kocharian, head of Sociometer sociological center said.

As Aharon Adibekyan told a press conference, 60% of the votes Prosperous Armenia garnered during the parliamentary elections were cast by the authorities, with only 40% cast by the opposition members.

The expert voiced skepticism over the party’s ability to enlist only opposition’s support, with Armenian National Congress (ANC), Heritage and ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARFD) being the main actors.

Mr. Adibekyan further expressed doubts over the opposition leaders to nominate a single candidate at the presidential race.
