Belgium cyclotron to be installed in Yerevan’s oncological centerAugust 2, 2012 - 16:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On August 2, Armenian government passed a decision to provide AMD 1,1 bln.budget loan to Radioisotope Production Center to create favorable conditions for cyclotron installation with maturity of 10 years. As Minister of Economy Tigran Davtyan noted, in the first quarter of 2013 the cyclotron will be installed in Yerevan’s oncological center under construction, with the isotope production planned in 2014. The cancer treatment center will be provided with euro 2.5 mln. worth equipment, as well as technical assistance as part of the cooperation with IBA Belgian company. Global Medical Solutions will run the center, considering its vast international experience in the field.
