Lake Sevan problems to be discussed at six-day youth programAugust 21, 2012 - 20:49 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - From August 27-September 1, Geghama youth association NGO, jointly with Armenian Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs will implement “Six Days around Lake Sevan” program in Gegharkunik province. The event will bring together about 500 students and young representatives of Gegharkunik’s different communities. According to the association’s chairman Vahan Davtyan, the initiative aims to encourage youth involvement in the program and boost patriotic spirit among them. The six-day program will feature meetings with high-ranking officials, seminars on Lake Sevan’s ecosystem, intellectual and sport competitions, tours to historical and cultural sites of the province.
