Armenian FM meets Italian Under-Secretary of State

PanARMENIAN.Net - On Aug. 27, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with a delegation led by Italian Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Marta Dassù.

Minister Nalbandian, hailed the steps taken in the past few years to develop Armenian-Italian relations.

The parties highlighted the importance of the agreements reached during RA president’s visit to Italy last year.

Interparliamentary ties, cooperation prospects in the fields of trade, economy, science, education and tourism sector were further discussed, with special importance attached to the role of decentralized cooperation in bilateral relations.

The current stage of Armenia-EU cooperation, the latest developments in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, as well as regional and international issues were further discussed, RA MFA press service reported.
