Prosperous Armenia leader sets conditions to President - paperAugust 28, 2012 - 13:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Hraparak daily reports that the leader of Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan, who has just returned from abroad, met with members of the party’s Masis town headquarters and talked not only about the mayoral elections in Masis, but also about the upcoming presidential elections. Tsarukyan stated that President Serzh Sargsyan should fulfill two conditions to gain his support in the presidential election: provide the party with 30 per cent of parliament seats and replace the Prime Minister. “If he agrees to my terms, I will support him, if not, I will propose my own candidacy for the presidential post,” Tsarukyan told his team-members, emphasizing that PAP is not going to support any other candidate, including Robert Kocharian or former Yerevan mayor Karen Karapetyan, whose names are being rumored as possible candidates from Prosperous Armenia.
