Paper: Orinats Yerkir leader, Agriculture Minister at loggerheadsAugust 28, 2012 - 14:59 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Chorrord Inknishkhanutyun paper reports that Orinats Yerkir party leader Artur Baghdasaryan and Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan had a private talk in a rather tense atmosphere recently. According to the paper, Baghdasaryan tried to make it clear to the Minister that the shortcomings in the field should not have any impact on the upcoming local self-government and presidential elections. Moreover, Baghdasaryan told Karapetyan that the latter had better be guided not by the interests of Artfood factory, which is his property, but deal with issues concerning the villagers, as there is little time left for 2013 governmental report, the paper says. Baghdasaryan reportedly told Karapetyan to settle the Artfood debts and pay the money intended to satisfy the villagers’ needs.
