Paper: Armenian opposition parties to attend Democratic Party meeting in U.S.?August 29, 2012 - 20:16 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Zhoghovurd daily, a group of pro-Western opposition politicians will depart for the U.S. in early September. Rumors are afloat that they are going participate in Democratic Party’s upcoming meeting, to be held in Chicago. Paper’s sources say Republic Party chairman Aram Sargsyan, Free Democrats party leader Khachatur Kokobelyan and David Shahnazaryan, who recently left the Armenian National Congress (ANC) bloc are among the participants. In conversation with the paper’s reporter, Republic Party member Artak Zeynalyan denied rumors on Armenian politicians’ possible participation in Democratic Party meeting.
