Armenian police refuses to comment on shooting at Akhtala mayor

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian police spokesman refused to comment on media reports about current mayor of Akhtala town Haykaz Khachikyan having been shot at.

“Police are clarifying the details, with additional information to be released later,” Ashot Aharonyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

Dwelling on several media reports suggesting Mr. Khachikyan was shot at by security service head of Akhtala mining and processing plant Arsen Chitchyan, Mr. Aharonyan said, “Police will issue such a report after verifying the information.”
