"Until Nagorno Karabakh conflict is solved the Turkish Government is not going to establish relations with Armenia at any level," member of the Supreme National Council of Turkey (SNCT), deputy representing the ruling Truth and Development Party M. Arslan reported. He emphasized that the Ankara stand is unchangeable and resolute in the Karabakh issue. "We view this conflict just as the Azeri people," M. Arslan stated. He drew the attention to the fact that even if some forces from time to time try to disseminate discord between the two countries, they cannot attain it. "The Government and Parliament of Turkey are ready to provide any support to Baku in the solution of the conflict," he said. Touching upon the activities of Armenians in the parliaments of foreign countries over the genocide, he noted that the issue is in the past for Turkey. "Ankara does not take seriously Yerevan activities with such forged demands. No one in the world votes for such trivia any longer," the deputy said, noting that he considers necessary to solve the issue of genocide via negotiations.
