According to Armen Martirosyan, without Armenia’s recognition, other countries will not acknowledge Artsakh independence. The expert refuted the opinion that Armenia’s recognition of Artsakh could trigger a new war, noting that Baku wouldn’t need a reason to renew hostilities were it certain of its victory. “Armenia must put trust in its own strength only,” the expert noted in conclusion.
