Heritage hasn’t discussed candidacy for Hovannisian’s MP seat

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage hasn’t discussed the candidacy of an MP to assume deputy mandate given up by party leader Raffi Hovannisian, according to the head of Heritage parliamentary group Ruben Hakobyan.

Hakobyan, however, refused to comment on the reasons behind Hovannisian’s decision, referring those interested to the party statement.

Earlier on Monday, September 10, Hovannisian submitted an application to give up his seat in parliament. According to parliamentary regulations, the application will be accepted in 15 days upon its submittal unless the MP recalls it.
