Repairs on Turkish highway hint at opening border with Armenia?

PanARMENIAN.Net - Asphalting and expansion works are in progress on Turkey’s Igdir highway on the border with Armenia, Turkish media report.

In this context, local population expressed concern over a possible link between restoration works and opening of the border with Armenia.

Sharing the sentiment, Igdir department of Azeri-Turkish public organization, issued a statement voicing concern about the “opening of Turkish-Armenian” border, 1 news.az Azeri website said.

Igdir authorities, however, declined to provide information, noting they are unaware as to the issue above.
