Armenian delegation participates in 56th IAEA General ConferenceSeptember 20, 2012 - 18:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian delegation headed by Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan participated in the 56th regular session of IAEA General Conference, held Sept. 17-18 in Vienna. According to MFA press service, in his speech Minister Movsisyan briefed all those present on Armenia- IAEA cooperation fields, particularly boosting security of Armenian NPP operation, construction of a new power unit, conduction of stress tests and other issues. Minister Movsisyan met with IAEA head Yukiya Amano during the conference, with issues of bilateral interests discussed. Armenian delegation further met with Khaled Toukan, chairman of the Jordan Atomic Energy Commission, with issues related to the possible cooperation on agenda.
