ARMENIAN PRESIDENT HELD WORKING MEETING WITH GEORGIAN PRIME MINISTER

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian has held a working meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli, the Press Service of the Armenian leader reported. In the course of the conversation the President noted that the Armenian-Georgian relations have always included a wide spectrum of issues of mutual interest. The Armenian leader also said he was satisfied with the fact that the Prime Ministers of the two countries will further be in charge of the Armenian-Georgian Inter-Governmental Commission. In his turn Zurab Nogaideli informed the Armenian President that an agreement on holding the recurrent sitting of the Commission within one of the next few months is already reached. In the course of the meeting the interlocutors discussed issues specifically referring to energy and cargo transportation, as well as organization of trade in border regions. Besides Robert Kocharian and Zurab Nogaideli discussed conflict settlement issues in the region and prospects of development of regional cooperation.
