Scientific expedition to mark 20th anniversary of Russian-Armenian tiesSeptember 26, 2012 - 19:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - From September 30-October 9, under the auspices of Russian embassy in RA and Armenian Economy Ministry, Armenia will for the first time host a joint scientific expedition over Armenia by Russian International Academy for Tourism and (RIAT) and Armenian Institute of Tourism. Along with marking the 20th anniversary of Russian-Armenian diplomatic relations, the event aims to develop youth tourism and contribute to strengthening of Armenian-Russian friendly relations. The participants will further meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan. After the expedition, the Armenian Institute of Tourism will host a roundtable, with development of tourism on agenda, Russian embassy’s press service reported.
