Armenian President meets EU Commissioner for Enlargement

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met September 27 with European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighborhood Policy Stefan Füle.

President Sargsyan hailed Armenia-EU relations, voicing hope that Mr. Füle’s visit will give fresh impetus to them.

The EU official, in turn, noted European integration as Armenia’s goal, stressing the need to discuss a number of issues that will allow for specific measures.

The parties further highly assessed Armenia-EU Association Agreement launched in 2010, with significant progress recorded in visa facilitation.
