PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian tied a game vs. Norway’s Magnus Carlsen in round 4 of Grand Slam Masters Final.

Meanwhile, Fabiano Caruana (Italy) beat Francisco Vallejo Pons (Spain), with Sergey Karjakin- Viswanathan Anand game ending in draw.

Caruana leads the tournament with 10 points, Aronian comes second with 6 points, while Carlsen comes third with 5 points.

Aronian will face off against Caruana in the 5th round, with Anand and Vallejo Pons to rival Carlsen and Karjakin respectively.

The tournament’s second stage will be held in Bilbao, from October 8-13.
