Expert hopes for Armenian ex-leaders to enter presidential race

PanARMENIAN.Net - Political expert Levon Shirinyan hopes former Armenian leaders will enter the upcoming presidential race to boost political competitiveness in the country.

At a news conference in Yerevan, the expert slammed Armenia’s opposition as unorganized, “lacking in a leading figure who could meet the competition.”

According to Shirinyan, Armenia would greatly benefit from the recurrence of the Georgian scenario, where Bidzina Ivanishvili, a millionaire opposition candidate entered the political struggle.
