Putin likely to discus economy in Turkey – MP

PanARMENIAN.Net - Russian President Vladimir Putin’s upcoming visit to Turkey bears no dangerous nature for Armenia, Chairman of Armenian National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations said.

“Mainly economic cooperation issues will be discussed during the visit,” Artak Zakaryan told a press conference, adding that the economic factor will prevail over the political one.

Dwelling on Putin’s absence at Yerevan-hosted CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Force (CRRF) drills, the MP stressed the military exercises as a testimony to the high-level of Armenian-Russian cooperation.

“No official information on Putin’s visit to Armenia was earlier released,” he said.
