Union of Armenians of Russia supports President SargsyanOctober 12, 2012 - 14:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of the Union of Armenians of Russia and World Armenian Congress Ara Abramyan is currently in Yerevan to participate in the 2nd convention of the Congress due October 15. According to Mr. Abramyan, at the convention, the Congress will submit a report of past activities, also focusing on mechanisms of Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, boosting effectiveness of Genocide recognition campaign and promotion of Armenia’s economic growth. In a conversation with journalists, Abramyan refuted media reports of his bankruptcy, noting that he even paid back the loans to banks who demanded for their money to be returned following media publications. As the head of the Union of Armenians of Russia noted, the Union supports current President Serzh Sargsyan.
