Yerevan, Brazzaville to exchange non-resident ambassadors

PanARMENIAN.Net - As part of his visit to Kinshasa, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso .

Congo President congratulated Armenia on becoming a full member of the International Organization of the Francophonie, voicing hope that Yerevan will further strengthen relations with French-speaking countries.

Minister Nalbandian, in turn, noted that Armenia attaches great importance to development of ties with African states.

The two men further discussed prospects for strengthening the legal field, establishment of bilateral business relations, with an agreement reached on accreditation of non-resident ambassadors in Brazzaville and Yerevan, as well as steps to deepen Armenia-Congo multilateral cooperation, RA MFA press service reported.
