  Italian Defense Minister says Karabakh settlement important October 17, 2012 - 20:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement is of strategic importance to Europe’s security, Italian Defense Minister said. Giampaolo di Paola urged parties to Karabakh conflict for taking confidence building measures and holding commitment to Helsinki Final Act. “As an OSCE Minsk Group member, Italy attaches great importance to Karabakh issue,” he said. Today, October 17, Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and his Italian counterpart Giampaolo di Paola signed an intergovernmental agreement on defense cooperation. Italian minister noted that agreements of this kind are signed with all the countries of the region.
