  Paper says Gyumri mayor making big job cuts October 25, 2012 - 11:41 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Gyumri’s newly-elected mayor Samvel Balasanyan has started major job cuts at the municipality, Hraparak daily reported. Community officials have also been affected, being forced to submit a resignation letter. The shifts have already targeted eight department heads, with both Prosperous Armenia and Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) members among them. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
