Train collision in Slovakia leaves 19 injured

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two passenger trains have collided near the main train station in the Slovak capital of Bratislava, injuring 19 people, AP reported.

Slovak Railways spokesman Tomas Sarluska says the crash occurred Friday October 26 afternoon when one train hit the back of the other.

Rescue service spokesman Boris Chmel says at least 19 people who were onboard were injured, one of them seriously. Police spokeswoman Petra Hraskova says it is not immediately clear what caused the crash.
