Star-studded “Les Misérables” international poster revealedOctober 31, 2012 - 20:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A new international poster for Les Misérables has been released, Digital Spy reported. The Japanese sheet features Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Anne Hathaway as doomed prostitute Fantine, Russell Crowe as police inspector Javert, and Amanda Seyfried as Fantine's daughter Cosette. Jackman has described the adaptation, which is directed by The King's Speech helmer Tom Hooper, as feeling "immediate and real", thanks in part to the fact that he and his fellow actors were singing live on set. Hathaway lost a large amount of weight to portray the starving, consumptive Fantine, and admitted that cutting her hair short for the role reduced her to a "mental patient level of crying". Les Misérables will be released on December 25 in the US, and January 11 in the UK.
