Armenian army power deters Azerbaijan – expert

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian army is the reason Azerbaijan is not putting its threats into actions, a military expert said.

“Monitoring of Armenian-Azerbaijani contact line must go beyond formal, with international structures being able to curb Azeri aggression through specifically developed mechanisms. Armenia’s army is up to the task,” David Jamalyan told a news conference in Yerevan.

On Nov 7, a border monitoring was held at Armenian village of Aygepar, Tavush province, where most instances of Azeri ceasefire violation were reported.
