According to Zhoghovurd daily, the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) leader, President Serzh Sargsyan has recently met with Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan to discuss Prosperous Armenia’s weird stance.

Abrahamyan voiced confidence that RPA’s former coalition partner will back Sargsyan in the upcoming presidential race, with President stressing the need to be ready for any turn of events.

“RPA adheres to the following principle: We are open to cooperation. No discussion has been held to address Prosperous Armenia’s issue only,” the paper quoted RPA vice president Galust Sahakyan as saying.
