Yerevan will do its utmost for stability in Syria’s Armenian community

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan expressed concern over the situation with Syrian people in the face of a civil war in the country.

“Syrian Armenians are descendants of the Armenian Genocide survivors. A civil war is a serious challenge to any state. At the moment, it’s hard to say if Syria might benefit from international interference,” Serzh Sargsyan told Le Figaro French daily.

“Yerevan will do its best to preserve stability in Syria’s Armenian community,” the President said.
