Huawei rolls out Ascend G330 budget smartphoneNovember 25, 2012 - 18:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Huawei has announced the Ascend G330 budget smartphone, Digital Spy said. The Android device, which offers relatively powerful specs for an economical handset, will be available in the UK early next month. Powered by a 1Ghz dual-core processor and 512MB RAM, the Ascend G330 runs the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and sports a 4-inch 800 x 480 display and a 1500mAh battery. Huawei has included several pre-installed applications on the handset in addition to the standard Android roster, including BBC iPlayer and The Sims Freeplay. Meanwhile, Huawei made its commercial debut in the UK set top box market with a new YouView receiver in collaboration with TalkTalk. The Ascend G330 will be exclusive to TalkTalk when it arrives in the UK in early December, offering the device free on £10, £15 and £20 per month contracts.
