Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan said the history book that recently became a subject of scandals has been approved until 2013, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reported.

Asked if the book will be out of circulation already in 2013, Minister Ashotyan said, “the historians and writers will decide on the future publication of the book in 2013.”

Thus, unable to offer a persuasive explanation as to the approval of the textbook distorting March 1, 2008 events, minister believes publication of the book for yet another year not a big problem, paper says.
