"Security of our athletes is ensured at highest level. We hope they will return with awards, especially a gold medal. We want Azerbaijan’s national anthem to be played in Yerevan,” azerisport.com quoted Rahimov as saying. Tural Ahmadov (52 kg), Nasraddin Mammadov (56 kg), Parviz Bagirov (64 kg), Sagi Salahli (69 kg), Orhan Mailly (75 kg), Rauf Rahimov (81 kg) and Rahil Mammadli will represent Azerbaijan at the championships.
