PanARMENIAN.Net - Ejmiatsin city resident Ashot K. was arrested Nov 28 over shooting at Armenian president’s security guard car.

According to Haykakan Zhamanak daily, Ejmiatsin city resident Ashot K. was arrested yesterday, Nov 28 over shooting at Armenian president’s security guard car.

As it was reported earlier, on Nov 21, 1 am local time, a stranger opened fire at the driver of VAZ- 2121 car, with the bullet ricocheting off the car windshield.

“According to Armenian police, a criminal case has been instigated on the issue, with citizen Ashot K., born in 1963, detained. As it was revealed later, he suffered from a gunshot wound and underwent medical treatment at a Yerevan hospital,” the paper said.
