Protesters attack Iranian embassy in BerlinNovember 29, 2012 - 17:33 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - A group of thirty protestors on Wednesday, Nov 28, threw stones and paint at the entrance to the Iranian embassy in Berlin. As the Jerusalem Post reports citing German media outlets, the police arrested 10 protesters, who were part of the Iranian opposition, and who termed their activities as a political act against Iran's regime. German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle condemned the storming of the embassy, saying "attacks on diplomatic properties are for us in no way acceptable." Westerwelle called his Iranian counterpart Ali Akbar Salehi to express his regret for the attack and to assure him of the security of the diplomatic building. The activists splashed green blobs of paint on the façade of the embassy and took the down the Islamic Republic's flag.
