Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian met with the president of European People’s Party (EPP) Wilfried Martens today, Nov 30.

The two men discussed Armenia’s domestic situation and international relations, with a focus on the nation’s democratic challenges and EPP’s role in the run-up to the presidential elections scheduled for February 2013.

The Heritage party joined EPP as an observer member in February 2012, the party’s press service reported.
