PROGRAM OF EVENTS WITHIN YEAR OF ARMENIA IN RUSSIA TO BE READY IN JUNE

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration Hovik Abrahamian met with head of the Russian President's Administration, Chairman of the Organizational Committee on holding the events within the framework of the Year of Russia in Armenia Dmitri Medvedev, reported the Press Service of the Government of Armenia. Noting the importance of holding the Year of Russia in Armenia for further development of the Armenian-Russian relations, as well as the Year of Armenia in Russia in 2006, Abrahamian said he was satisfied with the high level of the events. In his turn Medvedev thanked the Armenian Government for assisting to the holding of the Year of Russia in Armenia. In the course of the meeting it was arranged to submit the preliminary program of the events included in the Year of Armenia in Russia to the Russian party before mid-June. The parties also noted the importance of holding the events not only in the capitals of the two countries, but also in regions and administrative units.
