Ex-MP: opposition’s failure to blame for troubles in Armenia

Armenia’s coalition and opposition complement one another, yet, not efficiently enough, a Heritage party member said.

“Opposition should have acted as a foothold, yet it failed to form an adequate political field, making everything go wrong in the country,” Anahit Bakhshyan said.

However, as a Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary group member Margarita Yesayan noted, currently, the civil society is stronger than opposition forces.

Ms. Bakhshyan, in turn, noted that the civil society only acts strong once it makes sure its steps will be approved by the President.
