Samsung working on Galaxy Note 3 with larger display

Samsung is reportedly working on a third-generation model of its Galaxy Note hybrid device with a larger display.

As Digital Spy reported citing Korea Times, that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will feature a 6.3-inch display, further blurring the line between smartphones and tablets.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 2 earlier this year, a device with a slightly larger display than its predecessor. The firm has found success with the phone-tablet, selling more than 5 million units as of last month.

The tech giant is also rumoured to be working on a budget version of the Galaxy Note 2, with scaled-down specs and some features omitted, such as stylus functionality.

The report also backs up previous claims that a successor to the Samsung Galaxy 3 smartphone will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress next February.

However, other publications have refuted this, saying that a standalone event will likely be organised to reveal the Galaxy S4, as was the case with its forbear.
