Armenia has strengthened its defense potential in 2012, with a military parade in Stepanakert serving as a signal to the rival, an expert said.

“Azerbaijan was given a chance to notice Armenia’s potential, with many hot heads having cooled down,” David Jamalyan said.

“The scenario of war games was developed in such a way as to enable Armenian forces to repel the rival’s attack and move the hostilities to the adversary’s rear, up to the river of Kur.”
